Date And Raisin Chutney Recipe is a sweet and tangy chutney. Date And Raisin Chutney Recipe is prepared by blending soaked dates-khajur with fresh ginger, jaggery and spices. This delicious dates chutney can be served with dhoklas, fried snacks or even as topping for chaats.

Ingredients:

  • Date – 2 cup
  • Fresh Ginger – 1 inch
  • Salt as per taste –
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Raisins – 4-5 tbsp
  • Chopped Almond – 1/4 cup
  • Cloves – 2 nos.
  • Cardamom – 2 big
  • Ground Cinnamon – 1/4 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1/4 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Cut date in halves and remove the seed.
  • Heat the pan on medium flame, add dates, ginger, cinnamon, salt and red chili powder, cook it till dates are tender.
  • Now add sugar and cook it till the mixture thickens.
  • Remove from the fire, add raisins, almonds and stir well.
  • Transfer into bowl.
  • Serve date chutney with dahi vada/kachori.
