Soya Palak Bahar / Soya Chunks Palak Recipe

Soya Chunks Palak Recipe is a easy to cook, nutritious and healthy Palak Curry Recipe. It is high in protein and iron. Soaked soya chunks cooked with spicy palak-spinach curry, garnish with 1 tbsp of butter. Soya chunks is rich extremely high in protein, good amount of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Ingredients:

  • Soya Chunks – 1 cup
  • Finely Chopped Spinach – 3 cup
  • Butter – 3-4 tbsp
  • Bayleaf – 2-3 nos.
  • Finely Chopped Onion – 11/2 cup
  • Finely Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste –

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, add warm water and soya chunks, soak for 15 min and squeeze to remove excess water.
  • Heat the butter in a pan on medium flame, add bay leaf and onions, fry it till turn little golden brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic, fry for 2-3 min.
  • Add red chilly powder, salt, coriander powder and turmeric powder, mix well.
  • Add spinach and soy chunks, cook it till gets soft.
  • Serve hot soya palak bahar with roti/paratha/rice.
