Ingredients:

Fro Sandwich :—–

  • Brown Bread – 4 or 6 nos.
  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • Green Chutney – 3 or 4 tbsp
  • Boiled Potato (Peel and cut into thin slices) – 2 or 3 nos.
  • Cucumber (Peel and cut into thin slices) – 3/4 cup
  • Tomato (cut into thin slices) – 2 nos.
  • Onion (cut into thin slices) – 1 nos.
  • Chat Masala – 1-2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste

For Green Chutney:——

  • Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 cup
  • Chopped Mint Leaves – 1/4 cup
  • Chopped Ginger – 1/4 inch
  • Chopped Green Chilli – 2 nos.
  • Salt as per taste
  • Lemon Juice – as per taste

Instructions:

  • For making green chutney—- In a grinder, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and green chilli.
  • Make a smooth paste, add lemon juice and salt, mix well and keep aside.
  • Trim off the edges of each slice of brown bread, apply 1 tbsp of butter and 1/2 tbsp of green chutney on each bread and keep aside.
  • Arrange few cucumber pieces over the bread and sprinkle 1/4 tbsp of chat masala over it.
  • Arrange 2 or 3 slice of onion, 2 or 3 slice of potato and 2 or 3 slices of tomatoes over it.
  • Sprinkle little salt and red chili powder over it and again evenly sprinkle chat masala over it.
  • Place the other slice of bread with the buttered side facing downward.
  • If you want, you can toast or grill them.
  • Serve hot and crispy vegetable sandwich with ketchup and green chutney.
