CORN PANEER PAKORA

Corn Paneer Pakora / Makki Paneer Pakora / Corn Paneer Fritters

Corn paneer pakora is one of the best Indian snack dish. Cottage cheese or Paneer and makai or corns are combined with Indian spices and besan flour. Then deep fry it till they turns little golden brown. Serve hot corn paneer pakore with  tomato sauce or pudina chutney or coriander chutney.

Ingredients:

  • Corn (Crushed it blender) – 11/2 cup
  • Finely Chopped Ginger – 11/2 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Garlic – 11/2 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste –
  • Milk – 3/4 cup
  • Grated Paneer – 1 cup
  • Chopped Onion – 2 medium
  • Chopped Green Chili – 1-2 nos.
  • Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Amchur Powder – 11/2 tbsp
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2-3 tbsp
  • Besan Flour – 6-8 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste –
  • Oil for deep frying –

Instructions:

  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame, add ginger and garlic.
  • Stir fry it till they turns little golden brown.
  • Add crushed corn and salt, cook for 4-5 min.
  • Add milk and stir fry to get a creamy texture.
  • When the corn is cooked, transfer to a round dish and keep aside, allow to cool.
  • In a bowl, add paneer, onions, green chili, cumin powder, amchur powder and coriander leaves, mix well and keep aside.
  • In large bowl, add crushed corn mixture, paneer mixture and besan flour, mix well.
  • Add little milk (if the mixture is too thick) and salt, mix well.
  • Grease your palm very well.
  • Take a small amount of mixture and give it any desire shape or round ball or tikkis shape.
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame, slide the pakore in oil.
  • Fry it both sides till they turns little golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot corn paneer pakore with green chutney.
